Venturi Installation Guide
01
Remove Factory Venturi
Start by cutting most of the factory Venturi from the hull, leaving roughly 1-2 mm of material. Complete the removal process by carefully grinding/sanding the remaining material. We recommend masking the hull around the removal area to protect the gellcoat/paint.
02
Prep Surfaces for bonding
Dry fit the Venturi so that it lines up with the drain hole and is parallel to the hulls direction of travel. Use masking tape and the Venturi as a template to outline the area which will require glue. Using 120 grit sandpaper, lightly scuff the bonding surfaces of the hull and the Venturi.
03
Bond Venturi to Hull
Using your preferred adhesive*, apply just the right amount so that a small amount will squeeze out of the gap around the edge (not too much as we don't want to block the drain hole and restrict flow). Using masking tape to 'clamp' the Venturi to the hull while the glue adhesive sets. Make sure to remove any of the excess glue that squeezed out around the edge and in the drain hole.
